Honest answers to real questions
We know credit repair has a reputation problem. That's why we answer every question directly, without marketing language.
About ScorePros AI
No. ScorePros AI is a self-service educational tool. We help you read your credit reports, understand what's on them, and guide you through the process of addressing items yourself. We are not a credit repair organization as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). We do not act on your behalf — you make every decision.
A traditional credit repair service acts on your behalf, charges $100+ per month, and you often have little visibility into what's happening. ScorePros AI shows you everything, explains every item in plain language, and lets you decide what to do. Lower cost, full transparency, and you learn the process along the way.
No. We will never make that guarantee, and you should be skeptical of any service that does. Credit repair results depend on what's in your report, how bureaus and creditors respond, and the specific nature of each item. What we guarantee is that you'll have the best available tools and guidance to navigate the process.
Bureaus and creditors have up to 30 days to respond to disputes. Some items are resolved quickly; others take multiple rounds. ScorePros AI tracks all changes as they occur and keeps your action queue updated. Results vary based on individual credit profiles. We'll be honest with you throughout.
How It Works
You connect your reports through a secure, read-only integration. We can see the data — we cannot make changes, and we cannot submit anything to bureaus or creditors without your explicit approval first. The connection is secure and limited to what's needed to analyze your reports.
No. Nothing is submitted on your behalf without your explicit review and approval. Every dispute letter is shown to you for review before it goes anywhere. You are the sender — we are the guide.
When you log in, you choose your current focus: (1) Repair What's Inaccurate — for addressing items that may be wrong or unverifiable; (2) Build What's Missing — for thin credit files or missing positive history; (3) Plan Toward a Credit Goal — for working toward a specific milestone like a home purchase or auto loan.
Action queue items are ones we believe are ready to address now — they're flagged with confidence levels and recommended actions. Hold items are ones we recommend waiting on, with clear explanations of why. For example, a recent hard inquiry has diminishing impact over time and disputing it now carries some risk with limited upside.
Confidence levels (Low / Medium / High) reflect how likely it is that an item can be successfully disputed or addressed. High confidence means the item has clear grounds for action. Medium means it's worth reviewing. Low means there's a basis to look at it, but the outcome is less predictable. You always decide what to act on.

Data & Privacy
Yes. Your credit report data is accessed via a read-only, secure connection and used only to power your ScorePros AI analysis. We do not sell your data, share it with creditors, or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Escalation & Disputes
Dispute letters are generated based on the specific item being disputed and the round of the dispute. Round 1 letters use neutral, factual language requesting verification. Follow-up letters (if needed) use procedural language reflecting the prior lack of response. Letters are shown to you for review before you send them — you can edit them or choose not to send.
Not on first contact. We start with professional, factual language. Escalated language is used only when persistence has been established and specific conditions are met — never automatically on a first dispute. We don't use threatening language at any stage.
No. ScorePros AI is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The information and guidance we provide is educational. If you have a specific legal situation involving your credit, we recommend consulting a consumer law attorney.
